What was the highlight of Bilderberg Parkhotel Rotterdam
Wonderful first trip to Rotterdam and enjoyable stay in a classy Hotel, near the Centre of the City.
The staff, who were so friendly and helpful; the location, which was excellent for some of the sights, the shopping areas and location to the Central Station; the room was larger than expected but the bed was so comfortable and the shower head excellent for a good shower; WiFi was very quick; the room was always kept in a clean and tidy condition, with very friendly and helpful staff, who changed the towels daily; there was a coffee machine, to enjoy a drink. Breakfast was excellent. The most important bonus for us was that our return trip on Eurostar was cancelled, but they helped us stay another night.
TV channels were very limited, so there wasn't much to watch when we stayed in; our room was probably too big for us really so the temperature was quite low; the heating system was low and very noisy, so we had to go into bed to warm up; the bath was so large/deep that it took a long time to fill it up - although my wife did enjoy it later on; the room seemed quite dark, albeit with a few lights in the room.

Some very nice aspects but the noise lets it down.
Positives were lovely staff, cosy atmosphere and food in the bar, and a good breakfast.
It’s too noisy. Poor soundproofing means that you hear doors slamming and noise from upstairs. I asked for a quiet room and was put on the ground floor near the road with cars and motorbikes racing and all sorts of bangs and crashes. Plus a super noisy extractor fan in the bathroom.

Great location, staff and breakfast. Shame about the noise.
Excellent location, great staff, wonderful breakfast
Room smelled slightly musty; music from an outside event kept me awake till 3am - I don't know if this was a nightclub or a Christmas party. I know that this is entirely beyond the ability of the hotel to control, but had I known I would have stayed somewhere else.
